They provide the illusion of safety, but realistically still require the same riding skill and street smarts as shared lanes. Getting people acclimated to riding in the city should be addressed, but I think there are better ways (comprehensive bike map, buddies/mentors, etc). <br /><br />I still maintain, though, that better street surface maintenance is the number one infrastructure issue that would improve cycling in Albany.Karinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10886591518335590894noreply@blogger.com
